Education for Sustainable Development: What Is It and Why Does It Matter? Wynn Calder’s presentation at CCS Forum 2015.

Wynn Calder, sustainability education specialist, Director of Sustainable Schools, LLC and of the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future, held the attention of a crowded room during his inaugural intervention at CCS Forum 2015: Building the Desired City, which took place on Tuesday 05.05.15 at the Chacao Cultural Center.

In a talk that stimulated interest and conversation with attendees, Calder spoke about the practices and content to implement sustainable development education programs in schools, colleges, and universities, and shared inspiring examples and data on successful experiences in US schools. “I’m not here to give you answers, but to share ideas and start a conversation,” he said.

CCS Forum 2015 is possible thanks to the joint effort of Cultura Chacao, FAU-UCV, the Embassy of the United States of America, and Backroom Caracas.
