Tijuana. Artaud llegó a México a mediados de los años treinta y dijo que se encontraba en el camino del sol: «Lo que se debe perseguir aquí es el secreto de aquella fuerza de luz». ¿A qué se refería? Nadie lo sabe. En lo que a mí respecta, el reflejo del sol en Tijuana, posiblemente esa “fuerza de luz” señalada por Artaud, me produce un intenso dolor de cabeza

Tijuana. Artaud arrived in Mexico in the mid-thirties and said that he was on the road to the sun: «What must be pursued here is the secret of that force of light.» What did he mean? Nobody knows. As far as I’m concerned, the reflection of the sun in Tijuana, possibly that «force of light» pointed out by Artaud, gives me an intense headache.
