Balance incierto

Ser arquitecto, tal como ser matemático o cocinero, significa tener una cierta estructura mental; una manera de pensar y ver el mundo configurada por lo que uno hace y que, con el tiempo, configura todas las otras cosas que uno llega a hacer. En este sentido, la enseñanza de la arquitectura debería apuntar, en su mejor expresión, a entrenar a otros en formar esta estructura.
Uncertain Balance

Being an architect, just like being a mathematician or a cook, means having a certain structure of mind; a way of thinking and looking at the world that is shaped by what one does and which in time shapes everything else one comes to do. In this sense, the teaching of architecture should aim, at its best, at training others in forming this structure.
