Ulli Lust, was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1967, and lives in Berlin since 1995. She is a cartoonist, editor, and designer. She directs the online publisher www.electrocomics.com. Her published books include graphic novels, chronicles, and graphic reports, as well as a collection of erotic-mythological comics. She has won several awards for her work; her best known and awarded book is Today is the Last Day of the Rest of Your Life, an autobiographical work that recounts her trip to Italy at the age of 17, along with her friend Eddi. Two young, undocumented punks, make a journey that will lead them to an encounter with the Sicilian mafia and a macho society in which she will end up a victim of rape.
