Record: Class with Jorge Romero

Jorge Romero––educator, writer, and researcher––is a lover of crowds, the poetry of history, and the relationships between time and space. On October 27, Jorge joined us at the Micropolitics of Creation, Archives, and the Cities of the Future seminar, imparted by Camila Pulgar Machado and Backroom Caracas at the School of Literature of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. It was a lucid and pleasant conversation around the cities we inhabit and the cities that live in us––the metaphysics of the urban––. “Martí said, and I paraphrase: Do not take away perfection, the end of beauty, but neither that of the poem, because that would be to win by losing.”

We share with you here some images of the encounter by Saúl Yuncoxar.
